I am Theresa Overy and am currently the VP and membership chair of the FWISC. I have been a member of the club for many years now and a board member for about 5 years. I have represented the club as a delegate at both Tri-State Council and National Governing Council for 3 years. I am a LTS coach and currently am serving as the Logistics Manager of our Theatre on Ice teams. I am also an adult skater and have participated in many competitions throughout the years, including Adult Sectionals.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Doug for 34 years and have great 4 sons, 1 sweet daughter-in-law and an adorable granddaughter. I am an RN and am an adjunct faculty member at Ivy Tech currently teaching in their Medical Assisting program. Besides skating and of course, spending time with my family, I enjoy many other activities including: kayaking, traveling, playing the flute in 2 community bands, fiber arts (spinning (wool for yarn), knitting, etc.) and being involved in our church.
Hello, my name is Sara Uecker and I am the second oldest of seven children. I am married to my wonderful husband, Bill for 23 years. I have two children. Warren who is 9 and Nora who is also 9. I have become involved with figure skating, because of my children’s desire to learn to skate. They are both deeply involved in hockey and figure skating. I love every minute of it.
I work for Specialized Printed Products in many different areas. I have worked there for 23 years. I am also a manager of my sons hockey team.
Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to be apart of the FWISC.
After months of watching her son’s love of skating grow, Angela joined the FWISC board to support and serve the club making such a difference in their lives. She works as a Performance Improvement Specialist in Strategy and Business Development for Parkview Health System. Angela also serves as Youth Leader and Youth Ministries Board Member at Faith Baptist Church. Her greatest blessings come from her beautiful, blended family as wife, mom/step-mom to 5, and grandma to 9.

Throughout the past two decades I have lived in 5 different states and have had two more children. My favorite hobby is dancing, as it keeps me healthy. In 2014, I took my love for dancing and became a Zumba instructor at the Parkview YMCA. In 2017, I received my Master's degree from the Indiana University School of Social Work with specialties in mental health and addiction counseling. FWISC Junior Board Members are competitive figure skaters and members of U.S. Figure Skating and the Fort Wayne Ice Skating Club in good standing who are at least in middle school and have been FWISC members for at least one year. Among other important club activities, this outstanding group of young leaders volunteer their time to help make FWISC events like our annual Fantasy on Ice Show a success, and they take the lead in planning fun events for our skaters and club members. We appreciate all they do!
